Seseh: the island's quiet new hot spot
In June 2025 the national press converged on a stretch of coast most visitors still drive past. Kompas called Munggu a hidden gem that investors are actively hunting. Detik named the area the natural successor to Canggu. Antara, Kontan and Republika filed the same story from different angles: the quiet coast between Pererenan and Kaba-Kaba is where Bali's south-west is heading next.
Stand on Seseh beach and the reasons are plain. Black volcanic sand, surf without the crowds, and behind you a landscape that is still mostly rice terraces and temple processions. Pererenan's cafes are seven minutes away and Canggu's energy fifteen, yet the sound at dusk is the ocean and the subak water channels.
